About Me
I believe that the fun activities we engage in, which help make us happy and keep us healthy, are as important as the food we eat or the medicines we may take. I began my career as a Certified Recreational Therapist which allows me to use art, music, dance and games to improve peoples' coping skills. I found that through participation in even a simple activity, a person's communication and assertiveness skills can vastly be improved - priceless medicine for managing many of life's challenges.
I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to further help people. In this regard, I have been committed to helping adults learn to cope with and manage a wide range of mental and emotional challenges. In addition to providing individual psychotherapy, I have had the opportunity to help people in hospitals, schools, senior housing facilities and group therapy settings.
I would be honored to have the opportunity to work with you.
