How I Work as a Therapist
I strive to be authentic and engaged during sessions. It is my goal to create a safe and supportive environment so that we can form a strong therapeutic working relationship. It is through this working relationship that people can find new ways to manage the challenges they are experiencing.
During therapy sessions, I will offer therapeutic coping strategies and techniques from various treatment and theoretical orientations. I may also share some of my personal experiences that may help you find a new perspective or develop new skills.
I have specialized training in Gestalt Therapy which emphasizes developing a strong working relationship with you. In addition, I may also utilize my knowledge and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Play Therapy.
